Still Dry Fine Cider. They say Egremont Russet is the Chardonnay of the apple world, and it s hard to deny its vinous similarity! This single variety is from the stunning 2022 harvest. Unlike the last vintage of Egremont Russet purely as a single variety this hasn t had the influence of any oak barrels and was fermented only in stainless steel tanks for a cider reflecting the true terroir and character of this fine apple. Pale lemon in the glass with a gorgeously fragrant nose of jasmine flowers, honey and sugared almonds. The opulence and purity of the vintage is truly dazzling. Super succulent fruit around a core of fine, ripe acid. White peach, melon rind, anise and crystallised lemon peel with a sweet floral perfume playing through it from beginning to end.
